Dome Update
Starting Monday 3/8 the shift you select should be “Extra Dome” instead of just extra. The dome standby operations document is available anytime by clicking on the intranet policies tab and go to the procedures.
Scheduling Changes
Full Timers: Your shift start time preferences should be submitted to the schedule@chsmobilehealthcare.org e-mail address by 1800 on 1/8. I will let you know that the majority of people that have already submitted are requesting the earlier start times. Unfortunately, not everyone can be on these early shifts and preference will be given by seniority. Though, everyone will likely have some variability with start times. New Ambulance Survey

NYS Thruway is Cashless
Per the NYS Governor cashless tolls start today. Please be careful going through the tollbooth. They will be unoccupied, but it’s still narrow. Starting next week you will need to complete a special report for all calls to the T-way as we need to file a document to avoid being charged a toll. Starting today all staging for T-way calls will be at the American Legion on Middle Road. The parking lot near the tollbooth will not be accessible and the roadway near the tollbooths will be divided. You... read more

Paramedic staff, please see an Operations Officer on your next clinical shift for information regarding patient enrollment in the Hemolink Study. As a reminder, the study is a collaboration between CHS and URMC investigating the potential for in-field biomarkers in traumatic brain injury. The study will last as long as it takes to enroll 50 patients from the field. Please pay close attention to the laminated instructions which outline the strict inclusion/exclusion criteria.
