PPE Training Mandate

This training includes a LearnEMS online course, and skills verification with a trained observer to be completed no later than March 31, 2015. The training process is as follows:

  1. Complete the "PPE Donning and Doffing" course in LearnEMS, found in the Henrietta Ambulance Courses Catalog. This step must be completed first.
  2. Print out the certificate of completion.
  3. See a trained observer to complete the skills verification. Present them with your LearnEMS certificate, and they will walk you through the donning and doffing skills and record your progress on a check-sheet. The observer will not engage you in the skills verification unless you present the LearnEMS certificate to them.
  4. Submit both the LearnEMS certificate and the skills verification sheet to the Training Department by March 31, 2015.
